什么是hold ??

持有 are placed on a student’s account when students have not completed necessary requirements established by the 大学 or have not paid their outst和ing bill. You can check to see if you have a Hold on your account by:

  1. 登录你的 巢帐户.
  2. Select the “登记” dropdown 和 select “注册商 Office Tools.”
  3. 从这里，选择“查看您的持有点”.”

Make sure you take the action required to remove the Hold before you are scheduled to register for classes. The first step is to 呼叫 红鹰中心 973-655-7600 or redhawkcentral@4dian8.com or the office (shown as originator) who placed the Hold to underst和 how to remove the Hold.

Can I register before I take the required action to remove the Hold?

每个Hold都不一样. To underst和 what is required of you, 呼叫 红鹰中心 973-655-7600 or redhawkcentral@4dian8.com or the appropriate department (shown as originator on your account) to underst和 how the Hold affects you. Students with an outst和ing balance are unable to register or receive transcripts because they are blocked by Financial 持有. It is important for you to take action immediately.

建议持有s are typi呼叫y placed on student accounts for academic reasons. If you have an advising Hold on your account you should reach out to your advisor to discuss options for having this Hold removed. All information concerning your advisor can be found via 学位工作.

学生事务主任

Some students are placed on a 学生事务主任 because of either disciplinary or registration reasons. 此暂停将阻止注册.

Call the Dean of Students Office via 973-655-4118 for the specific course of action needed.

免疫举行

All students must submit evidence of the New Jersey required immunizations to the 学生健康中心 through the MyHealth门户. Once submitted, information is reviewed for compliance.

研究生连续入学考试

This Deactivation 登记 Hold is applied to Graduate students who have failed to adhere to the Continuous Matriculation Policy.

资金不足

This is a Hold which is placed on an account when a payment is returned due to insufficient funds or another reason stated by your bank. This Hold will remain on an account until the returned payment amount, 加上退回支票的服务费, 全额支付.

SA小额余额持有

Small Balance holds are placed on a student account if the current academic year cumulative balance is $3,000 or less (current academic year is defined as fall to summer).

This Hold WILL PREVENT 公布成绩单, 文凭 并可查看成绩.

Large Balance Financial 持有 are placed on a student’s account when a student has an unpaid outst和ing balance of $3,000.本学年01或以上.  The academic year starts in the fall semester 和 ends with the summer semester.

此暂停将阻止注册, 公布成绩单, 查看成绩, receiving your 文凭 upon graduation 和 submitting an application until the balance is paid. 

你可以在 巢 using a credit/debit card or with an electronic check. Payments can also be made in person at the Cashier Office in Cole Hall. Credit/Debit cards are not accepted at the 学生账户 Cashier’s Window.

SR前学年平衡保持

SR Prior academic year balance holds are placed on a student account with a past due balance from a prior academic year. This balance must be paid in full to release the hold.

Ways to resolve this hold: Students with an active 巢 account can pay online via credit/debit or e-check. All students can pay in person (cash, check, money order) at the Cashier’s Office in Cole Hall. Students may also pay through Montclair’s Pre-集合机构.
